Meal Support Groups

  • Anyone looking to practice, progress and solidify recovery focused eating in an efficient and supportive space.

  • How does it work?

    Rise (AM), Shine (PM) & Combination (AM +PM) meals are offered on 3 mornings and 3 evenings weekly.

    Rise is a 20 minute guided eating experience which includes values based intention setting for the day.

    Shine also gathers for 20 minutes and includes an initial mindfulness practice.

    Participants receive 1 optional (though highly recommended) individual session prior to the initial guided meal to identify achievable nutrition related and/or behavioral goals for the meals.

    Meals are “punch pass” style - meaning you have 3 available sessions at the beginning of each week. You can use 1, 2 or all 3 “punches” (ie. available sessions). You do not need to declare which days you will attend beforehand.

  • All meetings are online.

  • With your registration, you will receive 1 optional (though highly recommended) individual session prior to the initial guided meal to identify achievable nutrition related and/or behavioral goals for the meals. If you do not attend this complimentary session, you must verify you’ve read and agree to group guidelines prior to the first session for admittance.

    If you are currently working with a therapist or dietitian and want to use meals as a way to supplement that work, great! Feel free to forfeit the complimentary individual if so.

    AM group and PM group do receive a bit of mindfulness and values based guidance each group as well.

  • Attendance is not mandatory though it is highly encouraged.

    There are no refunds on group meal support. Rise recognizes your registration for a group as a commitment you are making to yourself to improve or maintain eating behaviors and hopes this policy can help you stay true to your commitment.
